Basil is a confident young trainer excited to travel the world. Like most young trainers his age, his goal is to become Champion, especially with his starter and team. He enjoys attention and being noticed, often to the second-hand embarrassment of his older sister.

Like most young boys, he is friendly and boisterous, brimming with energy, but also at times thick-headed, insensitive, and impulsive. Might be easily led astray, but has a strong sense of justice, and will speak up if he sees something that doesn't align with his moral stance. Has a black and white view of the world. Very determined.
