Oberon tends to get lost in the absurdity of his sisters, and to be honest, he prefers it that way. Grim and serious, he thinks himself the most sensible of his siblings, and tries to curb their various antics to limited success. He's tasked himself with restoring family wealth to the point where he can comfortably support his siblings and their adventures, but feels constantly foiled by his family. A stick in the mud, he's firmly against frivolous spending.

His constant look of disapproval makes for an excellent bluffing face.
An unholy combination of luck and ESP makes him terrifyingly good at card games and at gambling in general. Grimsley keeps trying to get him to come to the casino with him. Ada thinks it's hilarious. No one in his family will play cards or board games with him unless they're all in on hazing an unfortunate soul.
Caitlin (mother):
Grimsley (father):
Helena (twin sister): They might be twins, but beyond family loyalty and sibling bonds, they're two very different people. While he understands Helena's life choices, they don't have a close relationship where she'd be looking for his advice or approval. Her friend group is her friend group, and he doesn't really care for making friends or being sociable anyway.
Ada (younger sister): Of all his siblings, Ada is his favourite. They're the only two who opted to stay at home. Oberon worries excessively for her, due to a combination of her sickliness and gullible naiveté. He tries to puncture her ebullient romantic dreams with some much needed reality, but it's hard to keep a dreamer down.
Laelia (younger sister): He struggles between his desire to be kind as an older brother and his profound irritation with her flighty carefreeness. His lectures to her on her frivolity have been brushed off too casually for his liking.
Oberon is derived from Old German words meaning 'elf' and 'ruler,' and traditionally a name of the king of the fairies in medieval and Renaissance literature. Oberon sounds like 'obol,' an ancient Greek coin, and its starting sound is similar to aurum, Latin for gold.
Felix means lucky in Latin.
Denarius the shiny Bisharp is named for the Roman coin.
