Salvia is a cheerful, bubbly girl with a determined spirit. A coordinator seeking the ultimate achievement in Contest competitions, at heart she's a performer who really wants to put on a good show. Having been raised around consumate performers, charming the crowd with her Pokémon comes naturally to her. Despite her positive nature, something dark lurks in the corners of her vision. For now, it seems she can wave it off as a trick of the light. How much longer will that hold...?
A foundling abandoned on the steps of the Bell Tower, Salvia was raised with collective effort by Morty, Eusine, and the Kimono Girls.
Salvia's got a bit of a sixth sense for the supernatural. She attributes it to having lived in a place with a lot of ghosts, but the truth is that she comes by her abilities naturally. Plenty of people live in Ecruteak without sensing the ghosts of the city.
However, sometimes she has nasty dreams. And sometimes, she sees things that aren't there. And she sees things she's not supposed to be able to see. It creeps her out, but all she can do is paste a smile on her face and pretend she didn't see any of it. It gives her a reputation of being a bit of an airhead, but better that than crazy, right?

Ruth: Ruth is the flip side to Salvia's coin. They're both competitive fashion-fascinated coordinators who hate to be wrong, which means they get into a lot of bickering arguments as they travel together. However, that means that when they agree on something, they're a force to be reckoned with.
Salvia's name comes from a genus of sage. Salvia divinorum, in particular, is known for its hallucinogenic properties. It means sage of the ghosts.
