Fiercely independent, Faraday finds it difficult to ask for help, and insists on standing alone. She acts cool and collected, but tends to be rather brisk and short with her challengers. Quick and brutal with her tactics, her reputation tends to be that of a cold-hearted person. In truth, she would rather quickly finish up her gym duties to escape to the lighthouse. Despite all this, her primary priority is the safety and wellbeing of her brother.
When Eltan is defeated, she opts to leave the gym in Volkner's hands. On occasions when Volkner is travelling or unavailable, she steps in as substitute.

Backstory
A teenager when her parents died in a mysterious boating accident, she petitioned for emancipation and guardianship of her younger brother almost immediately. She seeks to uphold her mother's legacy as Sunyshore's Gym Leader, but finds herself trapped by politics and promises, and a recalcitrant and grieving Volkner determined to act out. Still, she does what she can.
