Early Life
The eldest child of Ariston and Calanthe of Celestica, Caedan was well educated in academic matters by the best tutors of the land, and learned swordsmanship and riding at the knee of his parents. By his early teens, he was accompanying his father in courtly matters and his mother on campaign.Ascension to Archon
With the death of his father in 00, Caedan ascended to the seat of the archon. It is difficult to say how much of an impact he had; mostly he continued his parents' work on stewarding the land and did not make any large changes.Civil War

In 00, his younger sister Cydonia turned most of the military against him and attacked [location]. Her marriage to Heir Daron of House Zelos afforded her far more connections to the military, particularly to House Zelos' formidable wyvern riders. In contrast he had much more support from the common folk and nobles; House Prometheus and House Themis allied with him, but it left them vulnerable to aerial attack.
Death and Aftermath
In the end, both siblings fell in the Battle of Sonoo, and his youngest sister Cordilla disappeared underground. There was no longer a clear hereditary or matrimonial bloodline to place on the throne, as Caedan's wife Elucia passed away from grief without children. House Zelos was pursued relentlessly by Houses Themis and Prometheus until almost no trace remained in Sinnoh. Houses Themis, Prometheus, and Gracidea formed an alliance, deciding to rule over the land together in an era historians have named the Tridomus.
Legacy
Often referred to as the Unlucky Prince, Caedan is a popular tragic figure in art, plays, and literature.
